20th Anniversary of LifeWorx

It truly takes a village to give care to our community. It’s the collected effort of our dedicated team, loyal clients, and support from the public that has made LifeWorx what it is today. Celebrating two decades this year, LifeWorx proudly marks its 20th anniversary in the care industry. Since our start in 2004, we have been steadfast in our commitment to making life a little bit easier, and it is all due to the contributions of our extended “village.”

We are so humbled to have served thousands of clients, provided jobs to thousands of caregivers, and built a team of 40 dedicated associates that work tirelessly every day. Today, we are in 4 states with 11 locations, and feel inspired to continue the important work that we have been doing for the last 20 years. This milestone reflects our dedication to providing nothing but the best for your families.

As expected, we have not gone without our share of bumps in the road. Early on, we opened our second location in New Canaan, CT. It was an office on the second floor in a small, affluent small community - just the right market for LifeWorx. But, the lack of an established network (we did not know a soul) and poor office location made it hard to attract business, and we struggled for a whole year. A year later, we moved from New Canaan to a corner retail location in Westport, CT, and the market opened for us. Lots of people saw our sign and we began to see walk-in traffic, which did not occur in New Canaan. This office saw much greater success, even though there were two great agencies in Greenwich, CT and one already in Westport, CT. We learned from this that a ground floor, visible office location with accessible foot traffic is critical for success, and every office we have opened since then falls under this criteria.

Even though our journey has been challenging at times, what has kept us going is the sense of fulfillment we feel from knowing that our clients are supported, cared for, and happy.

The biggest gift I have received from this experience are the people that make up LifeWorx. Finding folks like Brian, Barbara, and Jess that are equally as passionate about care as I am and the rest of the associates have made my team strong, united, and excited for what is to come. We are continuing to grow through word of mouth and from features in the New York Times and Westchester Magazine, and this positive response from our community proves that our efforts are seen.

As we look to the future, we still have work to be done. For the next 20 years, we are committed to forging new and lasting relationships with clients, delivering the best quality of care, and offering you peace of mind when it comes to the well-being of your loved ones.

Thank you for 20 years!
